π Day 1: Santa Marta β El Mamey β Camp 1
- 7:30 a.m. β Departure from Santa Marta in a 4×4 vehicle to our office in La Aguacatera (approx. 1 hour).
- Continue by vehicle to El Mamey, the starting point of the trek.
- Enjoy a traditional lunch in El Mamey before the hike.
- Begin a 4-hour hike to reach Camp 1.
- Accommodation in hammocks or beds (based on availability).
- Dinner and rest surrounded by nature.
ποΈ DΓa 2: Campamento 1 β Mutanyi β Campamento 3 (ParaΓso)
- 6:00 a.m. β Departure toward the indigenous village of Mutanyi (approx. 2.5-hour hike).
- Cultural exploration: learn about the traditions of a Tayrona indigenous community.
- Additional 1-hour hike to Camp 2, where lunch and rest are provided.
- Another 2-hour hike to reach the beautiful Camp 3 (ParaΓso).
- Accommodation in hammocks or beds and shared dinner.
- Night surrounded by jungle serenity.
ποΈ Day 3: Camp 3 β Lost City β Camp 2
- 6:00 a.m. β Ascent of approx. 1 hour to the Lost City (Ciudad Perdida), an archaeological site founded around 800 ADβolder than Machu Picchu.
- 4-hour guided tour of sacred terraces, stone paths, circular plazas, and ethnological sites.
- Return to Camp 3 for lunch.
- Later, a 2-hour hike to Camp 2 for overnight stay.
- Dinner and rest under the starry Sierra Nevada sky..
πΏ Day 4: Camp 2 β El Mamey β Santa Marta
- Β 6:30 a.m. β Final 6 to 7-hour hike back to El Mamey.
- Farewell with a well-deserved traditional lunch.
- Return to Santa Marta by 4×4 (approx. 2 hours).
- End of tour with a backpack full of memories, history, and nature.
