🌿 DISCOVER THE WIWA INDIGENOUS REFUGE – GOTSEZHY
Gotsezhy, meaning “Rebirth” in the Wiwa language, is an indigenous refuge nestled in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
This unique experience takes you on a trek through natural trails to this ancestral village where you can:
- Disconnect from the outside world and immerse yourself in pristine landscapes.
- Explore rivers, ecological trails, and visit one of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls.
- Understand the Wiwa worldview through dialogue with a guide and a spiritual encounter with the Mamo.
- Participate in cultural exhibitions of crafts and indigenous traditions.
Enjoy a refreshing dip in the mythical “Matuna” waterfall (The Enchantment), considered a space of purification by ancestors, only a 15-minute walk from the refuge.

| 12:00 p.m. | Short ecological walk (approx. 5 min) to a sacred place. Spiritual encounter with the Mamo. |
| 12:30 p.m. | Traditional Wiwa lunch prepared by the community. |
| 1:30 p.m. | Walk (approx. 20 min) to “El Encanto” (Matuna) natural pool. Swim in its refreshing waters. |
