π DAY 1: SANTA MARTA β MANAURE β URIBIA β CABO DE LA VELA
π Departure from Santa Marta, passing through Riohacha en route to Cabo de La Vela, enjoying the most breathtaking landscapes of La Guajira.
Visit to the Manaure salt flats, the most important salt production center in Colombia. You’ll learn about the salt extraction process and see the famous pink ponds.
Weβll continue to Uribia, the Indigenous capital of Colombia, and then head toward Cabo de La Vela via adventurous unpaved roads.
Accommodation at a local guesthouse.
Typical seafood lunch (fresh fish with sides).
Tour of Cabo de La Vela’s main attractions:
- Rainbow Beach: a perfect photo spot thanks to the light reflections on the waves.
- PilΓ³n de AzΓΊcar (Kamaichi): a sacred site for the Wayuu culture.
- PilΓ³n de AzΓΊcar Beach: ideal for swimming.
- Sunset at the Lighthouse, with stunning views of the βMorroβ and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Caribbean.

- Transfer to the pristine beaches of Mayapo.

- Return to Santa Marta.
